Good morning dear Ears!
We hope that you had a happy day yesterday! Ready to explore more moods and the sounds coming with them?

Today, Suvani Suri - our artist of the week - takes us with her to a very special place in Delhi… The Lodhi Gardens…. Someone in our audience asked Suvani whether she retired already in Kerala - because of the palm trees in her background... :-) But no no - it's just that in the Lodhi Gardens, there is a palm corner covering 2 acres land with cycas, fishtail palm, Dak Palm, Erica Palm, China Palma, Cane, Bottle Palm ... And of course there are herbal garden, over 5000 rose bushes and much more!
What a wonderful place … Suvani speaks about it also in our interview for the Ambient Radio Podcast.
Today, Suvani introduces us to Kush Sethi! Kush is a gardener and forager based out of Delhi. He spends most of his time in the numerous gardens, parks and forests of the city. Over the years he has befriended the Maalis (gardeners) from the Horticulture Dept, granting him access to invaluable gardening tips, an occasional harvest and a plethora of stories, anecdotes and collectables. His walks in the Lodhi are a glimpse into the world of edible plants, forgeable art material and hidden fungi townships.
Kush Sethi created a wonderful audio walkthrough exploring the Lodhi Gardens in Delhi!
Enjoy a calm moment and listen to it for the #DelhiWalkFestival together with Aastha Chauhan, Anant Raina with the Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS).
Suvani shares with us some images from the Lodhi Gardens…
Maybe while you stroll around the beautiful buildings in the garden and observe the plants Kush tells us about, observe how the sounds there influence your mood…
You pass by some lilac Bougainvillea trees, and some other blue colored blossoms or blueish shades...
You see where we are taking you now - into the blues! The color blue stands for many different things - it is the color of the ocean and of the sky and a symbol of grace, stability, serenity but also when it comes in darker shades of sadness, depth and even depression.
In Jazz - the Blues comes with a clear connotation.

Today, we want you to explore the blue moods… What sounds create your very own personal Blues? Are there sounds surrounding you that give you a blue feeling?
Is there a noise that even makes you cry?
Please share your sound and an image with us:
