Dear Ears around the Universe!
Yesterday, the wonderful Sonohr Festival started!
It was wonderful to finally meet all those artists who participated to Ambient Radio during the last weeks - I can assure you - they all have bodies and legs and not only heads over Zoom! It was so nice so sit in a dark theatre and get carried away by wonderful ear stories .... Check out the Sonohr festival page - there are a lot of events and pieces also going on online!
Almost, almost we are at the end of this Season!
One last push, one last rush ….!
Are you ready?
We quickly look back to week 2 of our journey together. We took some ice baths and listened to a lot of watery music ….
We went to record our waterscapes, we recorded the waters in our home, we almost drowned our microphones to create a lovely close-up of the waters we are fond of …
And before we start crying because the end is near - here you can go back and re-read all our letters of week two!
There are also two podcasts that spiced up week 2: Here you can listen to Podcast No. 1 and here to Podcast No. 2
So for everyone who is joining us right now, we invite you to send us any sounds of waters you can find!
Go and visit the nearest pond, river, lake, seashore …
Observe with your ears ….
Take your phone and press record!
It does not take much effort, nor expensive equipment, your smartphone is enough to join us!
Please share your sound and an image / video with us:
Post a film / recording (around 1 minute in length) with an image on Instagram using the #sonohrwater #ambientradiogoessonohr #ambientradio #sonohr (like this, we find your work!) OR:
Upload your sounds on Google drive. Please give your track the following title: yourname_day14. Like this we find your work for the weekly remix! OR:
Alternatively, drop an audiofile into our Telegram chat!
Let’s wash our ears with beautiful watermusic coming from all over the globe!
Thank you for being here with us and part of this journey!
We wish you well and hear you tomorrow for the grande finale!
Love and Kisses,
the Ambient Radio Crew
