Here are a few things we want to tell you about Ambient Radio!

Ambient Radio is a collaborative project all happening online (given the current circumstances....). The idea is to travel the world using our ears and sharing the sounds of our environments with each other!

We want to explore the natural world surrounding us through sound.
We will use ourselves, our ability to listen as instruments to understand more about the natural beings around us - stones, plants, animals, other humans. The project aims at creating a mutual learning process to refine our ways of listening to our natural environments and consequently - to our own nature.
The project will create a library of sounds and stories about natural environments from all over the world.
Ambient Radio is built through a series of simple, daily exercises and tasks that can be followed by anyone having a mobile phone at hand. The only precondition is curiosity - no special abilities or skills are required to embark on this journey. Various sound artists and musicians will enrich the project sharing their knowledge about listening, creating sound and making music
During a first round (a one-month trip) we discover the sound of natural things around us. Then we go and explore the unknown territory of how a landscape sounds. The trip will end with a one-month residency in each other's lives….

On Mondays, we will write a letter to you about the whole week to come. You get it directly into your inbox, you also find it on all our other channels.
Also on Monday, we share with you a short podcast about the adventures ahead
From Tuesday to Friday, we will back up with a short daily note, giving you a small task to accomplish each day. Obviously, all of this will also be published on our social media channels.
On Friday, it is time to upload all your work to google drive because ….
… on the weekend we will make another remix podcast featuring your work of the past week!
