Good morning to you dear Ears out there!
Maybe you missed our weekly remix on Sunday... We decided to allow people to finish their week two and to allow enough time also to Patricia Wolf to create and work on the remix!
Ready to start our third and final week of this Season 2 of Ambient Radio?
We really hope that you are in a good mood to start this week!
We promised that we will start to get really experimental with sounds…
This week will unfold around our moods, colors connected to our moods and all of it mixed up with sounds ….

And is there any better place to start a colorful Monday morning than with a stroll through Delhi?
Here we are going to meet with Suvani Suri - our wonderful guest of the week! Suvani is an artist and researcher based in New Delhi, India. Her practice is centred around contemplating the aesthetics, politics and philosophy of listening. She has been a component of several trans-disciplinary practices, alternating between the roles of an artist, assembler, designer, researcher, sound-producer and educator. Despite a difficult moment in India right now, we had the opportunity to have a long conversation with Suvani - you can listen to it by tuning in to our Ambient Radio Podcast No. 6!
We would like to introduce Suvani through a piece of hers called "Momently."
Momently is an audiosketch about an archaic word, one that had its moment and is now long-forgotten. The piece is an experiment, a collage, or we could also say - a spoken-word meditation, also based on extracts from T.S Elliot's reading of his poem Burnt Norton . “Momently” contains a layered and complex sense of time, in each of its three slightly different meanings:
1. from moment to moment; continually
2. at any moment 3. for a moment; briefly
Suvani brings us into the moment - how does your “Now” feel like? What is your mood? Observe yourself … Are you happy? Feeling sad? Or maybe just something in between?
During the coming days, we want to try to explore our moods and create soundscapes, that reflect those moods. Have you ever heard of the concept of the emotion wheel? We think, it is a very nice diagramm about all the many shades our emotions can have ….

Let’s start the week with positive vibes! Can you gather sounds that bring you joy?
