Season 2 / Week 2 / Day 10 Friday: Sotto le stelle / Under the stars

Buongiorno and Bonjour!

We are almost at the end of this week… We explored many things around soundscapes … We tried to move closer and closer to the essence of a place that means a lot to you. As time goes by, we understand better and better.

We think that the more you listen to the world, the more you are drawn into the more existential questions of life…. For Pan this all gets a bit too deep - anyway, he is not a creature to ask much questions - basically he simply exists - and in contrast to us human beings - he lives much closer and in a more self-evident relation with other beings on Earth.

Pan is reminding us to once in a while rise our gaze towards the starry night sky …. And simply ponder about the beauty of it, about the vastness of the universe, about it's mysterious connections, about the liquidity of stones and their breaking down, about becoming and vanishing….

Sotto le stelle - under the stars - that is the title of another piece composed and played live by Patricia Wolf during the Sotto le Stelle Festival in Ferrara. It is very nice to observe her at work!

And inspired by the sparkle of the stars, we ask you to remix the collection of sound of this week for one last time.

What are the stars in your soundscape? What sparkles and stands out? Which sounds are glittering?
