We are very proud and happy to be able to present to you a brand new track celebrating our work!
Suvani shares the following thoughts about the track:
Returning to the theme of moods and moodscapes that framed the third week of Ambient Radio Season 2, this mix drifts through the library of field recordings, brewing them into a sketch that ricochets between the many surfaces, spaces and states of sound and sounding. Moods as zones of constant transition infuse the air, produce atmospheres, syncopate with each other and are composed of tones and resonances. They are intimate and personal, fleeting and often inexplicable, but also contagious, inescapable, vast and thick, capturing the essence of milieus and ricocheting off each other in their tendency to diffuse and transmit. It is some of these ideas and reflections that I am floating through as I stitch this palimpsest of sonic fragments gathered by the participants.
